From the General Manager of Conaprolethis Friday, a communicated to staff of the cooperative in which it is stated that “The union leadership irresponsibly once again threatens to cut exports, with what this means not only for Conaprole, but for the entire country as a reputation”.
The communiqué is a new expression of one of the parties in a union conflict that has been taking place for several weeks in the main dairy agro-industry and agro-export company from the country.
This Thursday, after the extraordinary general assembly of the Association of Workers and Employees of Conaprole (AOEC), held in the city of Rodríguez, in San José, Among its new measures, the union announced the possibility of interrupting the normal flow of exports dairy.
Regarding this, the general management of Conaprole added: “In particular, for Uruguay, exporting and competing in the world costs a lot of effortand without any worker losing their job or wages the AOEC threatens priceless destruction.”
