Conaf decrees red alert for Collipulli due to forest fire that threatens homes

The National Forestry Corporation (Conaf) decreed a red alert for the Collipulli commune, La Araucanía region, due to a forest fire that affects the Malleco viaduct sector.

According to information provided by Conaf, the incident has consumed 100 hectares of vegetation and threatens nearby homes such as Route 5 South.

Firefighters from Collipulli and the surrounding communes are at the scene to fight the flames.
