The Comptroller General of the Republic recognized the former comptroller Federico Lalane José for his contribution to the development and institutional strengthening of the entity during his administration, in the period 2000-2004.
The distinction was headed by the comptroller Catalino Correa Hiciano, who presented a plaque of recognition to Mr. Lalane, on behalf of the institution and in the presence of former president Hipólito Mejía, who appointed him to the position, when he served as president.
