The Comptroller General of the Republic published this Thursday a database of direct costs that it will use to analyze the prices of public works.
The application, which is available on its website www.contraloria.gob.pawas presented by the comptroller Gerardo Solís.
According to the institution, this platform will serve to “guarantee citizens a fair and reasonable cost in State works.”
In addition, it was explained that this database has more than 8,600 activities whose values are part of the inter-institutional cost standardization program, to which some 26 government entities have joined.
Some 114 works inspectors and executing entities have been trained to manage this application.
The sources for the permanent updating of the platform will be the National Institute of Statistics and Census of the Comptroller’s Office and the Capac-Suntracs Collective Agreement.
