The Comptroller’s Office in Huancavelica detected that 175 medical equipment and other goods purchased by the Regional Government to improve the services of the Acostambo Health Center, were not located in the establishment’s inventory.
Said equipment is valued at 116 thousand 577 soles, among the missing equipment are pediatric pulse oximeters, aspiration units for the oxygen network, floor scales with a height rod, universal tube centrifuge, digital cell counter, among others.
These documents are not registered or inventoried at the health center, and to date, the Comptroller’s Office has not made the physical or accounting transfer of the work.
Despite this situation, the document issued by the control entity shows that they were received as compliant by the Reception Committee.
In this sense, the comptrollers also found that some equipment and accessories were paid with the work equipment component, while they were also considered in the infrastructure component, receiving them in both components and paid in full.

However, to date said equipment is part of the missing assets.
It should be noted that the work called “Improvement of the services of the Acostambo health center” cost about 9 million 326 thousand soles, the same one that began on December 10, 2016 and should have been carried out in 312 days.

Likewise, it had seven term extensions, culminating in October 2018 the five components that included an environment for the health care of the population, purchase of equipment, contingency plan, personnel training and environmental mitigation.
