The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, and the Vice President for Policy, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, revealed that, in the plan to attack national security, in which American, Spanish and Czech citizens were arrested, they were linked to a prostitution network that operates in the country.
During the program Con Maduro +, the Minister of the Interior, Diosdado Cabello, also reported that this “investigation was initiated after discovering with intelligence sources that terrorist actions would be carried out in the country with the use of grenades” and that these groups would be linked to local criminal groups.
Cabello said that several people have been arrested and their cell phones showed connections and links with the Tren de Aragua, including contacts with a woman who offers sexual services and who was the partner of the second in command of this criminal group.
In response to reports from Spanish media that the captured alleged terrorists were tourists in Venezuela, Cabello said that “these alleged ‘tourists’ had ties to a prostitution network and were in communication with a Czech who belongs to a mercenary group called the AZ Command, which operates in Europe.”
Before heading to Venezuela, the captured citizens were seen in Colombia, where they stayed in a hotel chain that would have facilitated their contact with sex workers, who used these girls as bait to recruit volunteers.
Conspiracy from abroad
For his part, President Maduro indicated that this revealed operation “directly involves a network of prepaid cards, all linked to the Tren del Llano, which move freely between Venezuela and Colombia.”
“What Minister Diosdado Cabello has shown is not even 10%” of the evidence. The American had a team that included at least three European citizens,” said the national leader.
“The ‘Warrior Child’ is in Venezuela and personally directed part of the criminal violence of July 29, 30 and 31,” added the head of state.
He claimed that “these sectors that call for violence are protected and sheltered in the territory of the United States. This flagrantly violates the UN Charter, for their actions of incitement and violence against Venezuela.”
