The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, supervised the completion of communal works in Magallanes de Catia, Sucre parish, in the city of Caracas.
Rodríguez said that “Venezuela is living wonderful times. After the elections of July 28, extremism tried to change the course of the country, to change the course of tranquility, peace and sovereignty. They thought they could seize power through violence and the response of President Nicolás Maduro and the people is more democratic.”
“Today we see here the projects that were approved on April 21, where through consultation, the communes decided where the resources were going to be invested. Today we carried out the inspection of the road, highway and curb works. Here is the community that decides on its natural space and what to do with the social investment, this is the concrete agenda of action,” he added.
Caracas Mayor Carmen Meléndez stressed that they are deployed in support of the projects that were approved in the first national consultation. She insisted that waterproofing and roof replacement works are being carried out, among other things.
He also pointed out that in the Catia community, one project became ten, where 10 communal councils participated in repairing stairs, roads and other works required by the community.
