Like every year, from June the first of the two installments of the Supplementary annual salary (SAC) received by registered workers from the public or private sector, retirees and pensioners.
The Supplementary annual salaryalso know as bonusis paid both in June and December, for which 50% of the highest monthly remuneration received within each of the semesters is granted.
This means that the amount paid in June for Supplementary annual salary, corresponds to the salaries from January to June (including the basic salary, overtime, vacations, etc.) and the one with the highest value is chosen.
The same happens with the second payment, when the salaries received from June to December are related, and the one with the highest value is always chosen, to grant this to registered workers in the public or private sector, retirees and pensioners.
In the event that the worker has not worked during the six months with which the calculation is made, he will be granted a proportional amount for the time worked. The first payment is granted on June 30 and the second on December 18.
However, employers have a grace period of four business daysso in the case of the payment of the first Christmas bonus, it could be received until July 6.
To calculate the amount that each citizen will receive, you must calculate the best salary received during the corresponding period (January-June), divide this value by 12 and then multiply it by the number of months worked.
Example: if you worked from January to June, and the highest amount received in that period was $55,000; I divide that value by 12 and then multiply it by the months worked; if there are six, the amount to be charged per bonus will be $27,500.
ANSES will pay the Complementary Annual Salary to retirees and pensioners
Through the ANSES (National Social Security Administration) retirees and pensioners will receive the first of the two means bonuses assigned for this year.
The value is calculated with the same formula as for formal workers, that is, 50% of the highest monthly salary received between the months of January and June is charged.
