Since last Friday, the Authority for the Regulation and Supervision of Telecommunications and Transport (ATT) has already carried out 776 operations as part of the operational plan called Prevent to live a safe Carnivalor, informed the executive director of the entity, Néstor Ríos.
According to data from the ATT, most of the cases were serviced in terrestrial terminals. Claims for non-compliance with the schedule, linked to an oversaturation of passengers, represented 55% of the services.
While in the air Service, most of the violations and complaints were related to poor customer service, delayed or canceled flights and problems with tickets due to rescheduling or returns.
Santa Cruz, with 154 cases, leads user complaints; La Paz follows, with 46 complaints and Cochabamba with 41 complaints for the aeronautical service in the country.
Ríos specified that of the 776 actions, at least 516 were at bus terminals and 260 at airports.
“For the operation we have deployed 100% of our personnell, we verify that all the buses that leave the terminals meet quality standards. Control over fares and the sale of tickets to minors was strengthened,” said Ríos.
He pointed out that, as a result of the controls on the sale of tickets to minors, 225 of them were identified as intending to travel without permits; added that found teenagers wanting to travel alone.
Rios recalled that this plan continues until Sunday February 26after the Corso de Corsos de Cochabamba, so that, in the event of any irregularity, users can go to the Service Supervisors of the ATT – SSATT.
In addition, they are enabled 24 hours, the chatbot 715-33208, at WhatsApp and the free line 800-10-6000 to report, receive immediate attention and restitution of rights as transport users, noted Ríos.
