A part of the roof of the Truck Bus company collapsed this Monday morning (7) in Diadema (SP), killing one person. According to the Fire Department, the victim did not survive the serious injuries caused by the accident and died at the scene.
The company is located on Avenida Fábio Eduardo Ramos Esquivel, close to the Imigrantes highway. According to Civil Defense, city hall technicians are on site to assess possible risks due to the damage to the structure and awaiting technical expertise.
Seven vehicles, with 22 firefighters, were sent to the scene of the accident. Truck Bus has been at the location for 16 years. Specializing in the manufacture and sale of auto parts, it partners with automakers in Greater ABC to develop vehicle parts.
In a statement, the Fire Department said it was called to respond to a collapse. “At the scene, agents found that part of the roof of a company had collapsed and a person had been hit. Around seven vehicles and 22 men work at the site. More details will be provided at the end of the fieldwork.”
