Companies with 100 or more employees have until this Saturday (28) to send additional information on the Salary Transparency and Remuneration Criteria Report, as determined by the Equal Pay Law.
The data will be used by the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE) to consolidate information from the Annual Social Information List (Rais) and prepare an individual report per company. The document will highlight possible salary inequalities between women and men who work in the same establishment.
The report will be available from March 16th on Emprega Brasil website. Companies must publish the document on their official channels by March 31, 2026, in an easily accessible location with broad visibility for workers and the general public.
Publication is mandatory. Non-compliance may result in a fine, and inspection will be the responsibility of the MTE.
National data
Also in March, the ministry will release consolidated data for the country and the Federation units. THE fourth edition of the reportpresented in November, indicated that women received, on average, 21.2% less than men.
Around 54 thousand companies are expected to participate in preparing the report in the first half of 2026.
What the law provides
Sanctioned in July 2023, the Law 14,611also known as the Equal Pay Law, amended the Consolidation of Labor Laws (CLT) to reinforce equal pay and remuneration criteria between women and men.
The initiative is part of the federal government’s actions aimed at reducing inequalities in the labor market. By law, companies with 100 or more employees adopt measures such as salary transparency, creation of reporting channels, implementation of diversity and inclusion programs and encouragement of professional training for women.
