Negotiations began with local leaders for the rescue and release of the kidnapped people. However, they had been killed. The soldiers were buried in a single grave, the others separately. The bodies were exhumed and will be transferred to Sacaba to undergo forensic examinations and thus continue with the investigations that include the existence ofe an armed group linked to drug trafficking in that area of ​​the country.
