Communities in Western Panama will be without water this October 20 due to water treatment plant maintenance

At 50% of its capacity, the Jaime Diaz Quintero water treatment plant will be operating, which will leave several sectors of Western Panama without water this Thursday, October 20.

According to the Institute of National Aqueducts and Sewers (Idaan), starting at 8:00 in the morning, cleaning work will be carried out in the collection of raw water and in the sedimentation tanks, and will end at 5:00 pm.

Due to these maintenance works there will be damage to the districts of Guadalupe, Residencial Don Juan, El Coco, Playa Leona, Barriadas Costa Oeste, Villas de Costa Oeste, Lomas de Mastranto, Jardines de Mastranto, as well as in the Corregimiento Juan Demóstenes Arosemena and part of Vista Alegre in the district of Arraiján will be without water.
