Communicator of the Autonomous Community points to the former campaign manager of Gary Áñez, for mounting the complaint against him

He Autonomous Community CommunicatorJosé Antonio Mendoza, who this Saturday was preventively detained for the alleged crimes of concussion and benefit based on the charge, identified Jéssica Sulzer, Gary Áñez’s former campaign manageras the alleged complainant in this case, which he described as a “revenge” of the UCS.

“A witness appears who is Jéssica Sulzer, she went and served as Gary Áñez’s campaign manager. And then, as a result of the separation and disengagement from Comunidad Ciudadana -she was part of it (of this group)- it has had benefits; she now works at the mayor’s office. So, they have managed that she, through a false complaint, he is doing what he is doing,” Mendoza told the media at the end of his hearing on precautionary measures.

According to the communicator, there is no evidence of his alleged participation in the events of those who accused him, as well as alleged charges to other officials. “Some photographs of some chats, but they do not indicate anything at all, they are all false,” he said.

Mendoza questioned the Justice, to be biased in favor of UCS and MAS. He stated that he was not notified prior to his apprehension, but that they arrived directly with the order. He indicated that his arrest is a way of intimidating the councilors of CA to prevent them from carrying out their inspection work.

He referred to his work as a public official and indicated that he is dedicated to calling press conferences for the councilors with whom he works.
