The Public Ministry informed the National Police through the Electoral Tax Unit of the election dates and times of the electoral campaign.
The electoral calendar indicates that the internal and general elections are scheduled for December 18, the simultaneous internal elections the election of candidates and authorities of parties, movements, alliances and agreements, while the general elections for the election of the president, vice president and members of the National Congress were marked for April 30 respectively.
As for party elections, political propaganda may begin to be applied on public roads from November 16, 2022 to December 15. For the general elections, the time runs from February 27 to April 27, 2022.
The public ministry recalled that there are sanctions for electoral propaganda made outside the established time, either by any means. These actions are classified as punishable acts in accordance with the Electoral Code.
