The National University of the Communes (UNACOM) culminated the first advanced training of communal trainers and trainers, with the participation of delegations from the 24 states of the country; The day included work tables, plenary and debates, aimed at defining strategies to strengthen the educational model in the communal territories.
During the meeting, regional spokesmen agreed on the urgency of completing knowledge maps as a guiding instrument of territorial planning. Amazon representatives highlighted the need to finalize this document in all the communes addressed, while those of Anzoátegui underlined the innovative character of the university initiation course, focused on communities of knowledge, virtual classroom and articulation with social movements.
Also, participants of the Yaracuy state proposed to address critical knots from three vertices: food production, science and dignity. The Apure reported that they already have trainers to execute the assigned tasks.
Also, those of Aragua proposed to integrate the community through activities that promote critical thinking and collective participation. Barinas and Bolívar agreed that the Citizen Assembly must be maintained as a permanent training mechanism.
Likewise, the spokesmen of Cojedes assumed as a task the transformation of the communal circuits into communes; and Capital District urged the systematic registration of processes and the link with educational institutions to promote communal values between children and adolescents. In Falcón they prioritized inter -institutional alliances to consolidate national training programs. Guárico reported more than 70 trained trainers through the Sucre mission, while La Guaira confirmed the presence of main trainers in each commune.
In respect, De Miranda announced the elaboration of the first concrete agenda of knowledge action. In Monagas the national launch of the university in October is expected. Portuguese proposed to strengthen the relationship between university and commune. The spokesmen of Sucre presented a strategy based on five elements: organization, linking, mobilization, training and communication. Those of Zulia closed the plenary with a call to internationalize the UNACOM in Latin America.
