“President @NicolasMaduro proposes the route to advance in this New Era. With direct democracy, the People’s Power must renew its instances and spokespersons to advance firmly towards Good Government”, said the minister.

In the published message, it is indicated, through a video, that all the communal councils of the country are summoned to carry out an update of the spokespersons of their committees and management units, through a free and direct election carried out from the communities.

Likewise, it is detailed that the process consists of the convocation, by the Electoral Committee of each communal council, to an assembly in which the electoral schedule is defined. Subsequently, the application, voting and scrutiny processes of each management unit will be carried out. The updating and verification of the results will be carried out through the digital portal of the Ministry for the Communes.

In the audiovisual, it is emphasized that the renewal of leadership through free elections consolidates participatory and leading democracy, and also maintains the organizational spirit of the communities.
