Thousands of consumers attended yesterday Christmas Fair of Change with Inespre, in Ciudad Ganadera, in the capital, where they bought basic products at affordable prices.
The start of sales was led by the main officials of the Government’s agricultural sector. Present, the Minister of Agriculture, Limber Cruz; the director of Inespre, Iván Hernández; the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Víctor Bisonó, the administrator of the Agricultural Bank, Fernando Durán, the president of the National Livestock Board, José Mallén, and other officials and members of national production.

Hernández reported that this fair will take place in the National District until tomorrow, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 in the afternoon. He added that a variety of 50 products and two special combos are sold there, which are available to all consumers.
The director of Inespre thanked the president Luis Abinader the support that has been given to that institution for the development of the Christmas Fair of Change.
At this fair, which has been held in different locations throughout the country, consumers can buy select rice of 25 pounds for 600 pesos and 10 pounds for $250, as well as pork legs for 1,500 pesos, half a leg for $850, and a whole chicken. at 150 pesos, carton of eggs at $120, bananas at $3 and green bananas at pesos, seasoning combos at $200, food at $650, cassava, potato, onion, garlic and all kinds of vegetables.
The Minister of Agriculture, Limber Cruzsaid that the Inespre Christmas fairs, added to its producers’ markets, mobile warehouses, sales of combos in supermarkets and other programs are part of the initiatives applied by the Government.
