In the country, at least 29,418 electrical failures last Octoberwhich represents an increase in these service interruptions of 6% compared to September, when some 27,569 were recorded, according to data provided by the Committee of People Affected by Blackouts.

The state of La Guaira was the one with the fewest electrical failures with 367, followed by the Capital District, where at least 389 electrical outages were recorded.

This Tuesday, November 15, the NGO Doctors for Health published a bulletin from the National Hospital Survey (ENH) where it warned that, until October 2022, some 218 people died in these public health centers due to failures associated with the power supply.
The figures indicate that in the month of October 20 deaths were reported due to problems associated with electricity, this being the fourth month of the year with a high number. February and September are the ones that have registered the most deaths, registering 49 each; followed by May with 39.
