A violent attack against the commissioner of the town of Llamellinin the province of Antonio Raimondi, Áncash, left the agent injured after being reduced to the ground and brutally beaten by three attackers.
In registered images, it is observed how the commissioner is taken by the legs while another subject kicks him in the face. When trying to stand up, the agent was pushed again, receiving a shovel blow to the body.
Despite the attempts of some bystanders to stop the attack, the attack continued. A third man used a belt to hit the police officer, who eventually managed to escape by entering a store for help.
Support and arrests
Another non-commissioned officer arrived to support the commissioner, but was also attacked with the belt. Both police officers were taken to the hospital to receive medical attention.
He Home Office reported that the three attackers, two young men from 19 and 18 years old and a minor 16 yearswere arrested. The incident occurred while the police were trying to control disorders reported by neighbors, who reported that those involved were in a drunken state.
