This Wednesday, during the session of the Permanent Commission of People’s Power and Communication of the National Assembly that is held at the International University of Communications (LaUicom), the issue of the attack on communications in the country and the tools that the group can apply to dismantle false opinion matrices.
The information was released by the University of Communications, through its account on the social network Twitter.
“Permanent Commission of Popular Power and Communication of the National Assembly meets at the International University of Communications (LAUICOM),” the message indicates.
During the session, the deputy and rector of the International University of Communications (Lauicom), Tania Díaz, highlighted that the institution offers a diploma in Political Communication, in which the experience lived in the country is exposed.
“Our diplomat of Political Communication summarizes in a systematic way what has been the Venezuelan experience in the face of the communication attack. It is about providing the participants with tools,” said Díaz.
He stressed that the Bolivarian Revolution together with the people has shown what must be done to counteract the media attacks.
«The Revolution and the Venezuelan people have given an example of a form of popular combat born from its own essence. We have given samples of collective creation for combat like the CLAP », he added.
Single popular communication network
In this sense, he added that during these years of struggle a group with a popular conscience has been formed.
“We are a unique popular communication network, we are a group that meets with common interests,” he stressed.
Movements and parties: communication debates
For the rector of the International University of Communications, political movements and parties should be more immersed in the communication field, with the purpose of opening debates on the matter that are in line with the new era of humanity.
“We are going to be the conveners so that movements and political parties that have to do with communication open the debate to navigate this new era in humanity,” Díaz added.
Discussion: Digital Communication Keys
As part of the session of the Permanent Commission of Popular Power and Communication, a discussion led by Diego Itusarry was also held, on the Keys of Research in Digital Communication, the institution indicated on its Twitter account.
During the event, the communicator Diego Itursarry was awarded the 2022 “Aníbal Nazoa” Journalism Award, for his outstanding work.
