Yamasá, Monte Plata.- The provincial president of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) in Monte Plata, Victor Pichardo and the designated official commission, held a coordination meeting, this Saturday, with authorities of that demarcation, for the construction work of a extension of the UASD in the municipality of Yamasá.
The meeting was led by Andrés Bautista García and Editrudis Beltrán, rector of the UASD, who chair the commission appointed by President Luis Abinader; In addition, Governor Rafaela Javier Gomera and other authorities.
«For a long time we in Monte Plata had the dream that the UASD would move to this province. Today I am proud that, thanks to the will of President Luis Abinader, we will see this dream materialize,” Pichardo said when taking a historical tour of the actions they undertook to achieve that goal.
While in his words, Beltrán explained that the uprising will begin, so that in an average of about 60 days the offices will be inaugurated.
He announced that apart from the work, which will work in the facilities of the Spanish Center and which will be named Subcentro UASD Yamasá, another will also be enabled at the Julio Abreu Cuello school, located in Monte Plata.
He stressed that this last center will serve so that other young people belonging to municipalities such as Sabana Grande de Boyá, can take extracurricular courses and professional careers.
While Andrés Bautista pointed out in his words, Abinader’s vision in the educational areas and the willingness he has to work in favor of the population.
Other participants in the meeting were the deputy Pedro Tineo, the general director of Community Development, Elèxido Paula, the deputy mayor of Yamasá, Juana Jacqueline Páez, the leader Luis Cabrera, among others.
