“I can say, with absolute conviction, as PNP Commander General, that we policemen are children of God and we serve a single lord and we fulfill what is commanded by him. We are called to bring peace to society, to treat helpless people with love, people who suffer offenses, who are attacked, who are at risk every day. That’s where the cop is. The police are where hardly anyone wants to be,” he noted.
In the last triangulation ordered by Castilloit was approved that Alfaro go from directing the General Inspectorate -entity that will see the complaint against Colchado- to the PNP command, replacing the PNP Lieutenant General of Arms Luis Alberto Vera Llerena, who denounced an abuse by the Government for ordering the change.
“The institution of the National Police is weakened with these political decisions,” said Vera.
