Comibox Chiriquí rewards the boxing values ​​of 2022

The Chiriquí Boxing Commission held the annual ceremony to award boxing values ​​2022, in the province.

The Chiriquí boxer of the year award went to Ronal “El Gallito” Batista, who had two victories and remains ranked number 10 in the world by the World Boxing Association, at 115 pounds, while the boxer of the year was Teresa ‘La Polla’ Almengor, who also remains classified as 10 in the world at 115 pounds, from the WBA.

The best return of the year was Daniel ‘Macarrón’ Miranda, who after several inactive years returned with victory, while Daniel Santamaría was awarded as the best debut of the year.

The Comibox also awarded the award to the judges and referees. Anaís Acosta received the tribute as rookie judge of the year and referee of the year, Armando Tejeira.

The best agent of the year went to José García, and Diener Baúles was chosen as trainer, while the best boxing companies went to Casa de Campeones Productions and High Level Boxing. Casa de Campeones Productions also took the tribute as the best Chirican boxing stable.

In the activity it was announced that during 2023 several boxing billboards are expected; the first will be on April 1, organized by Casa de Campeones Productions.
