Comandante Mirabal Commune of Santa Rosalía is trained in social control

Employees of the Comptroller General of the Republic (CGR) traveled to the Comandante Mirabal Commune, located in the Santa Rosalía parish in Caracas, to provide training on Social Control, Accountability and Sworn Declaration of Assets.

Through the program Contraloría va a la Calle, executed by the General Directorate of Citizen Attention and Social Control of the CGR, an induction was given to the spokespersons of the communal councils to train, guide and support citizens in issues such as: complaints, claims, suggestions and requests that can solve the problems of the sector.

The Comandante Mirabal Commune is made up of 14 communal councils that were organized with 23 spokespersons to carry out these workshops. The activity had an atmosphere of constant participation among the attendees, who thanked the initiative of the highest fiscal control body, and highlighted the importance of involving the communities in these projects for the benefit of social well-being.

Spokespersons René Andrade and Shadee Hernández showed their interest in the topic of Accountability and the Declaration of Assets. On this occasion, on behalf of the CGR, attorney Rina Esteban provided the respective advice for the preparation of petitions, complaints and suggestions. This activity was also attended by public servants Raida Rojas, Mayreth Bencomo, William Hernández and Annginey Gómez.
