According to the number of voters in each department, Colonia, Salto, Canelones and San José would each win one seat in the national elections on October 27.
Colonia would have four legislators, Salto would have four, San José three, and Canelones 16.
The departments that would lose seats would be Montevideo (from 40 it would remain at 38), Cerro Largo and Soriano (they would have one seat each).
