This Wednesday, the mayors of Colón, accompanied by officials from the Community Boards, will travel to the central offices of the Ministry of Public Works (MOP) located in the capital city, demanding prompt attention to the serious problems existing in the road network of the district of Colón.

These pressure actions directed at Minister Rafael Sabonge arose after he was repeatedly summoned to the Municipal Council session, calls to which he did not attend.

Previously, it was reported that the minister had little interest in responding to the call of the district representatives, so HR Alexis Higuera asked the plenary to take concrete action in this case, since the situation is unsustainable.

The proposal had the support of the mayor of the district, who will also participate in this organization.
