Colonenses children march to end violence and peace prevail in the province

A group of students from the Porfirio Meléndez school, located on Calle 12, Santa Isabel, in Colón, marched together with units of the National Police, in which they asked for peace and an end to violence.

The children carried white balloons, and carried banners with messages of peace, alluding to “Stop Violence”, “We Want Peace and Harmony in Colón”, “We All Have the Right to Life”, “No to “Violence”, among others.

The deputy director general of the National Police, Simón Henríquez, who participated in the march, invited the other educational establishments to join these activities together with the uniformed officers.
