Colonel Astilla assumes as director at the Felcc

The colonel Gustavo Astilla Encinas took over as the new director of the Special Force to Fight Crime (Felcc) in Santa Cruz by order of the General Command.

The new authority took command from this Monday at the Felcc in the place where the colonel worked Julio Cesar Cossiowho was designated in a national address in La Paz.

The Special Force to Fight Crime is the main investigative unit of this department, since it concentrates all the work that must be investigated for different crimes to solve them and for people to find justice.

Colonel Gustavo Astilla was the head of the Chiquitania Command. During the 2019 administration, he served as director of the Special Force to Fight Drug Trafficking (Felcn).

Astilla began his functions in meetings with his staff, in addition to the heads of the different divisions.

Last Friday, the Special Force to Fight Crime celebrated its 17th anniversary.

The act took place in the presence of all the personnel, in addition to the General Staff of the institution at the head of the Police Commander, Colonel Erick Holguín.

On that occasion, the outgoing director of the FELCC, Colonel Julio César Cossío, who left as national director of the Air Police in the city of La Paz, said goodbye to all the personnel
