Colombian woman had an accident in Mexico and they ask for help for a surgery to give her hope back

Angie emigrated with the hope of a better future, but an accident left her on the verge of paralysis. Today, his sister makes an urgent call for his recovery.

News Colombia.

Angie, a Colombian woman who was looking for a new beginning in Mexico, today faces a situation that has put her on the brink of despair.

His sister, Lady Villota, has shared her family’s call for help on social media, trying to raise the money needed for vital spinal surgery.

After a tragic motorcycle accident, Angie needs $300,000 Mexican pesos (approximately $65 million Colombian pesos) to cover the medical supplies and procedures that will allow her to save her mobility and, hopefully, return to the life she worked so hard for.

In April of this year, Angie and her family took the trip to Mexico, looking for new opportunities and a better life.

However, just two months after his arrival, on the way to his new job, a motorcycle accident changed everything. Angie lost control of her motorcycle and suffered a serious impact that took her to the emergency room.

Despite arriving with severe pain throughout her body, the medical staff only stitched a wound on her head and gave her a prescription for the pain, sending her back home without further investigating the causes of her pain.

A revealing diagnosis and the fight against time

Without health insurance and facing unbearable pain, Angie decided, on her own, to pay for an x-ray two days after the accident.

It was then that the seriousness of his condition was discovered: he had a wedge fracture in the T9 vertebra, in addition to small fractures in the T7, T6 and T11 vertebrae.

The injury also included damage to the spinous process of T8 and a dangerous spinal curvature of more than 15%.

His condition requires urgent surgery to prevent irreversible damage to his spine, but without the necessary resources, his hope for recovery is fading more and more every day.

For 21 days, Angie has been confined to a hospital bed, immobilized and unable to move, following strict medical orders while the pain intensifies with each passing day.

With a surgery that cannot be postponed, the lack of support from the health system and the depletion of family resources, their situation is increasingly difficult to cope with.

Lady Villota, her sister, expressed the anguish they are experiencing: “Angie needs help to have surgery; The situation has overwhelmed us, and her daughters are waiting for her at home. “We are all in a very difficult moment.”

An urgent call for help to save your life

The operation represents the only possibility for Angie to regain her mobility and be able to resume her working life to support her young daughters.

Without the $300,000 Mexican pesos needed to cover the medical supplies and expenses for the operation, Angie runs the risk of suffering permanent injuries that will affect not only her physical health, but the well-being of her entire family.

Her sister Lady has taken to social media to request the collaboration of all good-hearted people who can contribute to this cause, ensuring that all help will make a difference in the lives of Angie and her family.

Angie knows that this surgery represents much more than a medical intervention; It is her only chance to be close to her daughters and to continue fighting for her family’s future.

“Any collaboration will be grateful from the heart, and we trust that God will give back to each person for what he does for Angie and her girls,” Lady shared with the hope that this difficult situation touches the right people and they can achieve the miracle together. of Angie’s recovery.

How to help Angie

For those who wish to contribute, Lady Villota has prepared her social networks to receive any type of help that helps Angie recover her health and return to her family.

Each weight donated It will be one more step towards her recovery, and her family hopes that the solidarity of those moved by her story will raise the necessary funds to save Angie.
