Daniel began his journey through South America and then ventured to an unconventional destination: Africa. After a year and eight months of travel, he has traveled 65,000 kilometers, crossing 22 countries on two continents.

«I was a business analyst at a company here in Colombia, and one day I had an epiphany and said: ‘no, this is not for me’“, Daniel shared in an interview on the radio program The KalleThis adventure was prompted by reading two books that inspired him to embark on the journey.

During his time in Africa, Daniel faced several challenges, including an unexpected incident with the military. One of them happened when he was given a stop sign. Obeying the order, he stopped, and one of the soldiers noticed the Colombian flag he was carrying on the back of his motorcycle. He asked him if he was from Colombia and, afterwards, with a smile, they shook his hand. However, the situation soon became confusing, as he was bribed by an agent who demanded that he pay for insurance that was supposedly not valid.

«I politely asked him to return my documents, explained that I was going to buy the insurance, but he refused and asked me to pay him the value of the insurance right there. As if by magic, after giving him the money, it turns out that now the insurance was valid.“, he narrated.

«I left with 12 million pesos, but I ran out of them in Mexico. I had to work as a waiter, clean houses and bathrooms, make deliveries and give lectures. People have donated money to me and welcomed me into their homes.“he said. After six years, he has managed to establish various sources of income through platforms such as YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. “I have a very strong audience and I love them very much, thanks to them, I am traveling around the world. Currently, I have a monthly salary of 1,500 dollars, with that I move.“, he added.

Now, Daniel is preparing to continue exploring the world. His next goal is to travel from Spain to the Middle East and Japan, before crossing to the American continent to complete his trip around the world. “I am going to continue traveling the planet and fulfilling my dream of exploring new places,” he concluded.
