The Colombian senator, Jahel Quiroga Carrillo, ratified the categorical support of the New Granada Government for the government of President Nicolás Maduro, after both nations suffered the attacks of the US empire.
«Here is a message from the Government of Gustavo Petro, who is with you too. We are here with all our affection and brotherhood, you are not alone, we are here, the people of Colombia who have also suffered the attacks of repression and the gringos all their lives,” said Quiroga Carrillo during his speech at the Popular Assembly in the state of Miranda.
Likewise, he highlighted that the main task “is to unite the people of Latin America and the Caribbean, that is our greatest challenge.”
Civic-military union, example for the world
On the other hand, the senator highlighted the importance of the civil-military-police union carried out in the country and stressed that it is an example for the world.
«What you are doing is historic and a reference for all of us. How much we would also like to get to work hand in hand with the public forces, but the public forces, their leaders, their hierarchy, studied at the School of the Americas and that marks a lot,” he stated and added that the Government of President Gustavo Petro has carried out work to purify the organization to humanize it.
Given this proposal, Quiroga Carrillo denounced that there is a campaign to assassinate the New Granada president, by putting him on a “Clinton list, which is a civil death.”
“What the public powers have not done there against our Government and the Government has privileged people who need it, that option has cost Colombia dearly,” he stated.
Likewise, he asserted that the Colombian people firmly support their Government, as does the Venezuelan people by categorically supporting President Nicolás Maduro.
