The entity in charge of exercising the functions of surveillance and control authority for immigration and foreign affairs of the Colombian State explained that Yasir Pérez, one of the members of the musician’s work team “He did not present the documents required to enter the country, which is why the immigration officer denied his entry into the country.”
Immediately, says Migration Colombia, Amaury Gutiérrez “He abruptly interrupted the proceedings and stated in a loud and defiant tone of voice that he would accompany Pérez if he was not admitted.”
After that moment, the entity adds, the singer “He threw his passport abruptly and displayed an intimidating attitude when trying to leave through the entrance door, which forced the intervention of airport staff and the National Police”.
“Gutiérrez’s provocative behaviour created a tense situation with the officers present at the checkpoint, who were forced to intervene to maintain order,” the statement added.
