The others Two people, whose images were presented on June 22 by Police Commander Jhonny Aguilera, are free.

It’s more, Colombian Jhon Wálter Tibaduiza, whose photo was presented by Aguilera himself, left the country. From there, he accused the police of having extorted $6,000 from him to let him pass through a checkpoint near Montero.

The Minister of Government, Eduardo del Castillo, revealed that two uniformed men were detained. He then slipped that they had committed an “unforgivable” crime, because they could have helped a citizen involved in the murder of his comrades.

Del Castillo did not have the same criteria on Tuesday, when he stated that although he was on the first list that Aguilera presented to the media, he stated that “later he was no longer cited in the investigations.” Aguilera’s report indicated, however, that Tibaduiza was “found in a vehicle on the road to the crosses, in Porongo”.

“If he was arrested, why was he then for Montero? Del Castillo said that the case is investigated under the premise “whoever falls falls”. But, shortly after, the commander of Santa Cruz, Colonel Erik Holguín, confirmed that lThe detained uniformed men helped Tibaduiza to evade the controls and escape.

He explained that The two uniformed men intercepted the foreigner when he was traveling in a public transport vehicle to Montero, early on June 22hours after the policemen Eustaquio Olano, Alfonso Chávez Flores and the Gacip volunteer, José David Candia Orozco, were executed.

After being beaten and detained for a few hours, Jhon Wálter Tibaduiza was released by the police. “There In the second block of Montero the Police grab me, they get me out of the car, and then they beat me, they search me, they take my money, They take my phone, connect it to the computer and look at all the information I have. After they find the money they tell me: ‘We already know it has nothing to do with it, now we don’t want to see it and it leaves my country,’” the Colombian told Unitel, in a contact from Colombia.

“The Public Ministry ordered the arrest of both and is waiting to collect more elements that may corroborate the active participation of these two police officers in the escape of this wanted individual”, he detailed.

Also, the commander explained that The Police will analyze the initiation of an administrative process for the two uniformed officers involved, but he clarified that this will be after the Prosecutor’s Office presents its accusation before the precautionary judge.

For his part, the departmental prosecutor of Santa Cruz, Róger Mariaca said that the two police officers will be charged with the crime of concussion. He assured that there are sufficient elements to put them before the jurisdictional authority. He added that there are witnesses who confirm that Jhon Wálter Tibaduiza was arrested by the two involved on June 22.

Besides that other police officers who were on duty that day confirmed that the Colombian had a large amount of moneywhose origin was not justified.
The soldiers were transferred to the Santa Cruz anti-corruption unit.

At the time of declaring before the prosecutor Mirtha Mejía they accepted silence. It was learned that for security reasons the police are already in the dependencies of the Special Force to Fight Crime (Felcc), and that this Friday will be the court hearing in which they define their arrest.
The prosecutor anticipated that she will request his detention in the Palmasola prison for a period of 180 days.

Tibaduiza was presented in photographs as one of the possible participants in the murder. The image of Raúl Caballero Mosquera, whose whereabouts were unknown until last night, was also presented. In the case of foreigners, the Police did not find migratory reports on the route they followed to enter or leave the country.
