But the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported in a statement that only the invited countries will participate in the international conference on the political process in Venezuela, which will take place tomorrow, April 25, in Bogotá.
“Foreign Minister Álvaro Leyva Durán has not invited Mr. Juan Guaidó to this space, for which reason his attendance at the conference is not expected,” says the official text.
Neither representatives of the Government of Nicolás Maduro nor the Venezuelan opposition will participate in the meeting, which is reserved for the international community.
“As has been publicly and repeatedly stated, the conference is a meeting space with part of the international community,” the document emphasized.
