The Electoral Observation Mission, MOE Colombia, published this Saturday, August 3, that it undertook the task of reviewing the electoral records obtained by the Venezuelan opposition in the presidential elections held in Venezuela on July 28.
In this regard, the Colombian EOM stated that, as of August 2, the National Electoral Council (CNE) has not made public the minutes of the election. “It has only released two bulletins with aggregate results, in which Nicolás Maduro is declared the winner.”

The Mission reported that it conducted an analysis of the data contained in the respective minutes of each of the tables made available to the public and the international community.
MOE Colombia stated that after carrying out the analysis, they found that candidate Edmundo González not only led the vote with 67.2% of the votes, but also obtained 1,066,246 more than those counted by the CNE and in total, managed to collect 6,392,350 votes.
For his part, Maduro finished second after obtaining 30.4% of the votes, which represented a total of 2,891,553 Venezuelans who voted for him. “In this case, the peculiarity is that the CNE results attributed 3,517,291 more votes to Maduro, meaning that his results were doubled – and a little more,” they said.
