Social Prosperity is developing the program Colombia Without Hunger, an initiative that provides a monetary amount to beneficiaries who are in a vulnerable state.
In this regard, the authorities in charge of delivering these benefits have established a series of differential amounts that reach 500 thousand pesos per cycle, considering various variables such as the location and the number of people in the beneficiary’s home.

Differentiated amounts
It is important for you to know that Citizen Income determined a payment scheme for their respective beneficiaries, who They will be able to receive between $220 thousand pesos to 500 thousand on averageThe value depends on the number of people living in the property and whether it is considered a priority area.

The cycles
Taking into account the above, it is indicated that in the cycles 1 and 2, All beneficiaries will receive the amount of $220 thousand or $500 for each cycle, considering the presence of parents for those under 6 to 18 years old.
Later, in the cycle 3 and 4 An amount of $500 thousand pesos will be given to mothers or fathers with children from 0 to 6 years old or who are disabled.
It should be noted that the amount may not exceed $500 thousand pesos per cycle, since the idea is to distribute this type of economic resources equitably, keeping in mind that there are two periods in which beneficiaries can receive an amount close to one million pesos.

Amount of transfers depending on the municipality
As previously noted, the beneficiaries of this social plan will have an income that depends on the geographical location in which they are located.
Families in priority municipalities with minors
They will receive 500,000 pesos, 100% of the basic basket.
Families with minors in non-priority municipalities
They will receive a sum of 500,000 pesos and 60% coverage of the basic basket.
Households without children in priority municipalities:
Up to 500,000 pesos and 80% coverage of the basic basket.
Households without children and located in non-priority municipalities:
They will receive up to 500,000 pesos and 40% coverage of the basic basket.
