The Colombian delegation proudly waved the tricolor flag, a historic parade for the country at the Winter Olympics.
Colombia News.
With poncho, boyacense hat and waving the flag, this was the exciting entrance of the Colombian delegation to the opening parade of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.
The ‘pint’ of the tricolor delegation reflected one of the coldest areas of the country between Cundinamarca and Boyacá.
Colombia has very little history in this competition, especially due to the conditions in the country, and because there has been no commitment to support athletes who prepare in other countries.
Most athletes who have attended the winter games and who are Colombians have done so through other countries or their training has been paid for in a private way.
in these games in Beijingthree athletes arrive: Carlos Quintana (cross country skiing), Michael Poettoz (slalom skiing) and Laura Gómez (ice skating).
