Colombia will receive a ship loaded with urea from Venezuela

Within the framework of the return of diplomatic relations between Colombia and Venezuela, the Colombian ambassador to the country, Armando Benedetti, informed that in the next few hours a ship will arrive at the port of Barranquilla with more than 16 thousand tons of urea, coming from Venezuela.

The ambassador offered the information through his Twitter account. He also announced that Venezuela charges 600 dollars a ton, while in the international market the ton is between 730 and 930 dollars.

“In the next few hours a ship will arrive at the port of Barranquilla, which I managed on behalf of the president @petrogustavo with more than 16 thousand tons of urea from Venezuela. They charge us 600 USD per ton. On the market, the ton is between 730 and 930 USD », he said.

This information had been announced this Thursday by the Vice President of Economy Tareck El Aissami, who reported that the ship with urea would arrive in Colombia in a few hours, however, also denounced that the dock where the raw material will arrive is not in optimal conditions.
