Colombia, the second most visited tourist destination in 2022

The travel company Despegar.com revealed the list of the 10 countries most visited by Latin Americans in 2022. In that ‘top’ Colombia ranks secondsecond only to the United States.

Also, the country it surpassed other countries that have a great tourist tradition, such as Mexico and Brazil.

According to Inés Hochstadter, Despegar country manager Colombia, Peru and Ecuador, “Colombia has a wide range of destinations that provide multiple quality options for adventure, nature and even business tourism, always with an offer that adapts to the needs and budgets of each traveler. This, added to other factors as a favorable currency for foreign travelers, it has allowed to boost tourism in the country, leading it to occupy this place of leadership in the region”.
