Yesterday, the country presented four prospects for gold mining at the International Convention of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC), considered the most important exploration fair in the world, in Toronto, Canada.

The official presentation of the ‘Ronda Minera para Oro’ takes place with four blocks in Antioquia, corresponding to blocks 17 and 18, located in the municipality of Santa Fe de Antioquia, with a total area of 2.8 million hectares; and blocks 16 (municipalities of Peque and Ituango) and 21 (municipality of Peque), with a total area of 6.2 million hectares.
These areas already have the reservation, declaration, generation of zone characterization reportsand have reports from the Colombian Geological Service and technical analyzes from the National Mining Agency.
Thus, the Government hopes that the offers for the strategic areas will begin to be received, as of July 21, they will be for the four blocks independently.
