Colombia continues to shine in its performance at the XII South American Games that are disputed in the city of Asunción, capital of Paraguay. This Thursday, October 12, the national delegation won 11 medals of gold that allow him to keep second place in the general medal table.

The Colombian alegrías were concentrated in Track Cycling (3), Squash (3), Athletics (2), Boxing, sports shooting and trampoline gymnastics.
Colombia also added nine silver and 12 bronze medals for a total of 32 metals on the day.
The first position of the medal table is occupied by brazil with 119 gold, 87 silver and 68 bronze for a total of 274. The third drawer of the podium is from Argentina with 42 gold, 48 silver and 67 bronze.
