“Colombia enters the Human Rights Council for the first time in its history. “The Colombian position regarding the systematic violation of human rights in Palestine will be precise and forceful,” he assured.
The president also announced that, in addition to focusing on the Palestinian conflictColombia will ensure other relevant aspects in Latin America. In particular, he pledged to defend the freedom of former president Pedro Castillo in Peru, who was arrested after a failed coup attempt.
