Colombia, 29th in the Energy Transition Index of the Davos Forum

In the 2021 Energy Transition Index of the World Economic Forum, Colombia ranked 29th out of 115 countries that were part of the list, and that develop migration policies towards environmentally friendly energies.

(This is how the Colombian economy grew compared to other countries).

The report submitted by the World Economic Forumfocused primarily on the environmental sustainability of energy and how nations are leading the adaptation and regulation of energy implementation of clean energies.

(Davos Forum would be held from May 22 to 26 in person).

Sweden with a score of 79, Norway with 77, Denmark and Switzerland tied with 76 and Austria with 75 were the countries that achieved the top five indicators in the agency’s analysis for last year.

Through his twitter account, Diego Mesa, Minister of Mines and Energy, pointed out that Colombia’s leadership at the regional level, in Latin America and the Caribbean, which began four years ago, has been consolidated.
