The new design, presented on November 5, arrives loaded with symbolism. The shirt, which will be worn by the men’s and women’s teams, It contains seven embroidered yellow butterflies, in clear reference to the universe of magical realism that immortalized Gabo in works like ‘One Hundred Years of Solitude’.
A detail that, more than decorative, becomes a piece of national identity. “The new National Team clothing represents a powerful symbol of national unity, inspired by the cultural movement of magical realism, and starring a design of yellow butterflies that evoke pride, hope and transformation,” Adidas explained in its official statement.
