Colo Colo of Chile and River Plate of Argentina tied 1-1 on Tuesday at the Monumental Stadium in Santiago, in the first leg of the 2024 Copa Libertadores quarter-finals.

The Cacique resisted the hierarchy of the Millionaire at their stadium in the first battle between both teams despite River scoring first thanks to a shot by Argentine defender Germán Pezzella in the 43rd minute.
