Colman: The tax relief measures announced by the President of the Republic

The president, Luis Lacalle Pou in the company of the Minister of Economy and Finance, Azucena Arbeleche and his economic team, on Thursday 2, made a presentation to coalition legislators about the specific measures.
In general terms, we can say that the tax burden for low-income people and micro and small businesses is reduced.

They are intended to benefit more than 327,000 workers, 179,000 retirees and pensioners and more than 35,000 companies.
As a result of this, more than 63,000 workers and 20,000 retirees and pensioners will stop being taxpayers.

We stress the importance of an announcement of these characteristics, which clearly demonstrates the good administration of public money in recent years and the commitment of this administration to the population in general.

Remaining at your entire disposal in order to expand information on the matter, greets atte.

Secretary deputy for the department of Colonia, Mario Colman (PN)
