The Cuba-Europe Cultural Relations Interpretation Center announced in the capital that it is organizing the European Presences in Cuba Colloquium, which will take place from October 23 to 28 at the Palacio del Segundo Cabo, Old Havana.
On this occasion, it will have the issue of women as the axis of reflection.
The colloquium is part of the international collaboration project Promoting the sociocultural inclusion of women in the Historic Center of Havana, through the management of cultural heritage and care with a gender perspective, sponsored by the Basque Agency for Development Cooperation .
According to its organizers, the history written mostly by men has obviated the participation of women. This type of event seeks to promote other spaces for reflection to value the role of women in the construction of national identity.
