Three people were injured this Tuesday after a strong collision that occurred between a Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) truck and a passenger bus on Carlos Soublette Avenue, near March 10 in the state of La Guaira.
According to state security forces, the accident occurred around 2 in the afternoon when the military vehicle transporting food from the Local Supply and Production Committees (Clap) lost the brake system and hit the Yutong brand bus.
The three wounded, all belonging to the military corps, were immediately transferred to the Rafael Medina Jiménez Hospital in Pariata, where they receive medical attention. Until now, his health condition remains under observation.
Civil Protection teams, La Guaira state firefighters and Land Traffic officials went to the scene to provide assistance to those affected, control traffic and guarantee safety on the road, which remained partially restricted during the rescue efforts.
