“Air France come back to the Dominican Republic and we welcome you with open arms!”, expressed this Tuesday the Minister of Tourism, David Colladoafter the restart of the airline’s seasonal operations on the Paris–Charles de Gaulle–Punta Cana route, through the Punta Cana Airport.
“Today we receive in Punta Cana Airport he first plane which lands from Paris, France. We continue to strengthen our air connectivity and accumulate achievements like this, which allow us to connect again with the french market“said the official on his social networks, along with a photograph of a plane Air France.
During the tourist fair IFTM Top Resa last year, Minister Collado and the commercial director of Air France, Frederic Descourssigned an agreement that made official the formal return of the air connection between the Dominican Republic and Paris.
Operations
He seasonal service operates from January 13 as of March 28, 2026, with three frequencies weekly —Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays—, connecting Punta Cana with more than 200 destinations in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East, through the hub Air France in Paris–Charles de Gaulle.

Rodríguez explained that the route is operated with a Boeing 777-300a long-range aircraft capable of 442 passengersdistributed in business classpremium and economical, which allows us to serve different traveler profiles.
